<p>Web Browsers store images and other elements of html code in a &quot;cache&quot; so that the next time you visit the page it will load faster. While this speeds up the browsing experience, it can cause problems when posting new material to a site &mdash; the browser keeps pulling from the cache and you can&#8217;t see your changes. Time to flush your cache!</p>

</div>
<p>Safari&#8217;s easiest. Just go to the Safari menu and select Empty cache.</p>
</p></div>
<div class="clear"></div>
<div id="step_2" class="lessonStep right">
<h2 class="StepTitle">Flushing Firefox Cache</h2>

</div>
<p>Firefox is also easy, but first you have to set some preferences. So open Firefox preferences.</p>
</p></div>
<div class="clear"></div>
<div id="step_3" class="lessonStep right">
<h2 class="StepTitle">Click on the Privacy Tab, then Settings</h2>

<div class="clear"></div>
<div id="step_4" class="lessonStep right">
<h2 class="StepTitle">Uncheck everything but Cache, then click OK</h2>

</div>
</p></div>
<div class="clear"></div>
<div id="step_5" class="lessonStep right">
<h2 class="StepTitle">Then click Clear Now</h2>
<div class="image">
<img src="http://www.macworks.info/images/How to Flush Your Browser Cache/media_1202234569591.jpg" width="400" height="241"/>

<p>Now that you have your &quot;Clear Private Data&quot; settings you can clear your cache in one step from the Tools menu. (Note: your Tools menu will not look exactly like this example because it lists any Firefox extensions that are installed.)</p>
